Project Specific Health & Safety Standards
- Protective clothing and respirator to be worn at all times as governed by
the work environment. - Only properly trained workers are to have access to the work site.
- All work is to be supervised with properly trained and experienced foremen.
- Reduce and/or limit the production of pollutants to water, land, and air.
- Control the storage, transportation and disposal of hazardous material in
a responsible manner. - Ensure that the site environment is minimally affected, consistent with the scope of the project, and to maintain a clean and orderly job site through
the proper collection and removal of construction debris controlling dust
and noise as determined by the project surroundings and needs of the client. - Encourage our contractors and sub- contractors to be more environmentally aware and to adhere to our environmental policy while operating on our site.
- Foreman on site to conduct respirator fit testing prior to start up, followed by refresher training as per required by workers on site.
- Posting of signage on site regarding emergencies plans, emergencies phone numbers, worker protection and site conditions.
- Foreman to conduct tool box meetings daily on site prior to work start, and weekly Health and Safety meeting.
- JMX Environmental’s Health & Safety policy is to be adhered to at all times.
