Asbestos Abatement:

Asbestos is a fibrous mineral that was used in various building materials because of its unique strength and resistance to heat. Some typical examples of asbestos containing materials are sprayed fireproofing, floor
tiles, ceiling tiles, pipe insulation, drywall joint
compound and attic insulation (vermiculite).

Asbestos is regulated as a designated substance and abatement must be performed before any demolition or renovation project can proceed. Asbestos is a known Carcinogen and associated health issues include Mesothelioma, Asbestosis and Lung Cancer. Health issues from asbestos exposure may not become apparent until 15 to 30 years from time of exposure.
